The Biosphere

 

 

The biosphere is the part of Earth that supports life. The biosphere takes place from deep into the ocean to kilometers hight in the sky. Climate and other physical factors affect the type of life in that area. "The climate of an area determines what plants can grow in that area. The plants, in turn, determine what animals and other organisms the area can support."("Science Saurus: A Student Handbook" page 141)
